Worked as advertised, but word of warning!!
If you take any SSRI medication, taking L-Theanine as well may increase your risk of seratonin syndrome, a rare but extremely serious condition. If you take any serotinergic medication like SSRIs (Lexapro, Prozac, etc.), MAOIs, or TCAs, make sure you understand the risk and know the symptoms of seratonin syndrome when taking any supplement with L-Theanine.
A lot of people taking SSRI's have trouble waking in the morning and would benefit immensely from this product, so I hope Zest Labs releases a secondary version without L-Theanine so we can feel safe and comfortable taking it every day. At the moment I am only taking one pill (40mg caffeine, 40 mg L-Theanine) out of caution, but I wish I could take a full 80mg caffeine.

“Waking up after 7 hours like clockwork”
From Day 1, Zest has consistently worked in 7 hours for me. I'm still figuring out the timing and if I want to be a morning exerciser before getting ready for work, but I'm waking up less groggy and more able to plan and make decisions. I used to wake up well before I needed to be up in order to have multiple alarms and a slow morning to let the coffee hit. Taking Zest is already a big improvement for a night owl with an early morning job. My only issue is sometimes I want more than 7 hours of sleep, but it will wake me up after 7 hours. So it's hard to take daily, though I know that is how it works best. I'm going to try to take it at 10PM even on weekends to wake up at 5AM and hope those habits become regular during the workweek. I've been waking up a few minutes before my alarm every day, so it's not a surprise.

“Got me off provigil”
so I have idiopathic hypersomnia, and it has been getting increasingly worse in the last year. I was taking Provigil 200 mg twice a day and I was still having issues staying awake. Unfortunately, the Provigil put me in afib so taking more wasn’t really an option. My provider found this for me, and I started taking it in place of the provigil. It was a rough transition at first because I was also on propranolol. But after about a week, it helped me tremendously. Now I take two of these at night and I actually feel awake enough to drive to work. It’s safer because I don’t go into AFib anymore.

Skeptical, at first
My wife and I were skeptical at first. Then we missed a day, and could tell a substantial difference in our energy in the morning. Great product.

I can’t believe how…
I can’t believe how well this works and how it has changed my life! I’m serious, I would wake up in such a funk and felt horrible. I couldn’t think straight, I felt hungover, I was irritable, and I just couldn’t wake up and get going. I was always waking up from either a deep sleep or REM sleep. I read about how this works, the science, and it really makes sense and obviously works. I wake up feeling normal, like I’m supposed to, and even better with some actual energy and cognition! I don’t dread waking up anymore at 6:30 for work. I can actually use my mornings for things I want to do instead of sitting there like a zombie. Real customer here, not paid, and definitely recommend!

A noticeable difference!
I 100% notice a difference in my morning energy when I do take it. However, sometimes I still sleep in, despite taking two pills. Definitely try to take it on an empty stomach, as I notice that it’s more effective that way.

30 days in, and I’m waking up ready—Zest Wake‑Up Pill is delivering
I've been using the Zest Wake‑Up Pill for about 30 days—and it works exactly as promised.
Take one capsule before bed (preferably on an empty stomach), and around 7–8 hours later, the caffeine releases—right when you’re waking up. No groggy snooze cycles. Just clean energy delivered at the perfect time

This product is really effective.
This product is impressive. You can really feel the caffeine kick in as soon as you wake up. Rather than feeling groggy, you start the day feeling energized. I use it every day.

Noticable difference
Great energy when I wake up, only issue is consistency: if I have a particularly empty stomach when I take it, it tends to kick in 6 hours or so after, but 8 hours is the goal and it usually works around then. Noticable difference on the odd days I forget to take one
